I prefer the version from his Gold album, live from the Troubadour
It really is an infectious song.
I spent five dollars to see Neil in 1973 in SF.
Drinks were $2.
Great show.
Do not listen to this song while driving. You can unknowingly go from 55 mph to 80 mph before the song is over without realizing it. Don’t ask me how I know.
Always loved that song! Good memories of those times.
Thanks, always a foot-tapper!
I saw Neil Diamond’s name all of a sudden.
I thought it meant he might have “checked out.”
Glad was wrong.
I know he just retired a year or two ago, mainly due to Parkinson’s Disease. Hard for anybody, but especially for a singer or guitarist.
Saved--Laverne Baker
Love it!
But it’s already been in my head for several days now (having watched an old video of my mom, sister and me singing it in a choral group on stage) so I guess now it’ll keep going for a few more days!
Amy & Howard LOVE NEIL DIAMOND!!!

Check out Neil Diamond live at Glastonbury. 2008 and on you tube, the full show. I like this version of Forever in Blue Jeans. About 3/4 the way in.
