Homo? Rachmaninov married a cousin and had two daughters. He fled Bolshevism in 1918 and became America's favorite composer after Gershwin's death in 1937. Three weeks before his death from cancer in 1943, he became an American citizen as his final act of giving the finger to Stalin. He's buried just down the row from Ayn Rand, another Russian who fled Bolshevism.
