I lived in liberal Corvallis for many years and nearby Linn county has always been a red county.

I wonder how Obergruppenfurher Brown will respond?

Probably call in the National Guard to arrest anyone wearing “Star of David”
Now that would be funny.
Everyone protesting should wear a Star of David armband.

Back in January I was looking at Lebanon in Lynn county to move to; alas, I should have kept my mouth shut after the Paradise fire as a whole lot of folks went and bought houses up there making property much more expensive. While I was trying to juggle arranging for a job up there (got two) had a sewer break at home and there went the ready cash for the move, got both jobs to hold off - and then COVID hit and there went selling my home in California.

Was really impressed with the area up there, still on my relocation list, just everything is now delayed...

some places in and around Grant’s Pass. My friend lives on the river 10 minutes from downtown. Very nice.

Lebanon is really a nice area, especially the hilly areas to the south and the east, where I live.

If you are in the hills, be aware that you may hear gunfire. Many people have their own private gun range and lots of ammunition.

Honestly, I was more aiming for a house in the city; not that I dislike the rural areas (I’m a rural carrier for the USPS), more that it’d be easier on my wife and daughter who prefer not to drive.

I live in Grants Pass. It’s a nice little town, though we have lots of homeless people and crime is pretty high...lots of stolen cars and stolen property.

Still, there’s lots of good, conservative people here.
