At the inn, patients get a room to themselves and three meals a day, as well as in-person checkups from MGH medical providers, all at no cost. They have television and free wifi. But they also must choose to be confined, to forgo home-cooked meals and the care of their loved ones, to submit to a certain level of surveillance and abstain from going outside. Its a respite albeit a lonely, difficult one.

Theyre serving pasta and meatballs. [Patients are] asking for rice and vegetables and chicken," said MGH disaster nurse Jacquelyn Nally, who is the nursing director for the Inn. I think if this were to happen again, we would consider the cultural sensitivity and the cultural differences for the population that youre serving."
Sounds like the culture involves illegal aliens.
Free meals. You get what you get.
I stayed about 80 nights in Comfort Inn and Quality Inn properties last year (same parent company)
I knew exactly what I was going to get at the breakfast counter every morning.
I’d love to culturally appropriate fresh cooked eggs over medium and a rasher of bacon.
That’s close to me. Hope they’re watching the side exits. There’s a giant liquor store right next door.
In any given liberal-ruled state, authorities are not allowed to institutionalize homeless mental cases. But they can be rounded up and set up in hotels with all the amenities, including (in SF, CA) booze and drugs, and, presumably, needed medication and, according to this article, treatment; the exact same conditions they would experience if institutionalized. Only in liberal America.
Oh, boo hoo.
Nothing is free.
It all comes with strings attached.
Where was one person from, Guatemala? Imagine going there, getting free food and then saying you are tired of tacos and want a hamburger. Liberalism truly is a disorder.
I must have died and gone to heaven!
I have no sympathy or use for someone who is given help and then whines about how it’s not good enough.
If they have that kind of attitude, they are not truly in need.
Is that near the strip club?
I always thought that Revere was one *giant* liquor store.
21rst century pest houses.
Everything old is new again.
I’m thinking ham sammiches, pork rinds and bacon...
Fresh cooked eggs are a NO NO in every hotel in the country. They are all precooked bag eggs from Cisco. 5 gallon reheated bags of scrambled eggs that make me sick if I eat them. And bacon thinner than a playing card. Same breakfast every day all year long.
I cook eggs in the microwave in the hotel. They actually taste like eggs.
I think all Hotel owners should be required to eat their own hot breakfasts for a week straight once a month.
Now compare that with what the homeless get from the state, and remember, YOU pay for it all. (Plus shipping and Handling kickbacks for Politicians)
Virtue Signalers work for Fee, not free.
Illegals allowed to live crammed together in illegal apartments, illegal multi-family dwelling because MA needs warm bodies. And MA doesn’t give a damn about the conditions they’re living in.
Just another Hotel California
Not every hotel. There was one Quality inn somewhere that the food guy offered freshly cooked eggs any style.
Wow, was that a cool treat.
These places run together so much, one time I was on the actual freeway before I even remembered what city I was in.
I knew I was heading west for day two of a two day drive but had absolutely no idea where I was.
Looks like its right on the Saugus line.
I know the feeling. There is a Holiday Inn in Spokane that serves real meals in an in house restaurant. Ten bucks off breakfast certificates made it a 3 dollar steak and eggs day.
Oh My Gosh, it was Heavenly.
Such a change from the Cisco Eggs everywhere else. Or if your lucky the three week old non refrigerated waffle machine.
Like just what is that waffle batter that it cannot rot? Some type of Chinese plastic foodstuff?
That’s why three hot meals a day delivered to your room for homeless who complain about it is such a joke.
Is that near the strip club

Squire Lounge is maybe a mile. Golden Banana and the Cabaret maybe 10 minutes up Route 1.
