It's not "tired" to me. I only recently learned of it, and it most accurately encapsulated the response I felt that rant deserved.

No, that one's been around for a while and its definitely tired and used up. You are way late to the game on this one, pops. Squares trying to sound hip is not cool.

And you used it inappropriately anyway. Its something the young say to us oldsters to dismiss our experience and wisdom.

Karen is relatively new. Learn that that one means and use it appropriately and you too can be cool.

I myself like to coin my own phrases and make them happen. Currently, I'm trying to make OK DOOMER happen to juxtapose against OK BOOMER and mock the fearbros. Won't you help me make it happen?

I don't make any effort to keep up with millenial pop culture. I actually have real things that need doing in my life. I'm sure you do too.

Might be funny to millenials, but it needs work if you expect it to be considered witty by an older crowd. I have a friend that I see often who makes what I consider to be lame jokes many times a day.

I keep telling him he needs to work on his material, but he keeps trying to do "off the cuff" funny, and it just falls flat with me. Falls flat with other people too, but they are too polite and so pretend to laugh.

He's still a good man and a good friend, but I wish he would either stop, or do a better job of it.
