Quarantining sick people is a legitimate thing to do to sick and contagious people. It has been done in the past in the USA and in other countries. Quarantining healthy people is a new concept that destroys freedom. To those with health conditions and who have a legitimate fear of CV (or any flu) - it is your responsibility to protect yourself. The misery of quantine does not need to extend to the productive.

I think there’s no disputing this. When it became a problem in Wuhan, China banned travel from Wuhan to everywhere else IN CHINA. However, travel from Wuhan to other countries continued as always, i.e., they “sent people over here with it”, as you say. Xi was sending it all over the world while protecting China.
Besides that, he was manufacturing, buying, and hoarding as much of the PPE that existed in the world so we couldn’t fight the disease.
