Flubros! Day 23 (A place for Flubros and Flubras)

It’s just the flu, bro.

A few things to watch for at the state level: 1. More tyranny in various states with heavy handed approaches to social distancing. 2. More good news in treatment front - ventilator bad...hydroxychloroquine (sp?) good....but how many states are making things worse by denying the medicine because they hate Trump. 3. Which states are going to keep the lockdown even after Trump/CDC says to end it. 4. And just a comment - I like how Trump allows state’s to do what they want.

And also note that these death stats are trash and lies. They want Corona funding.

The curve was flattened and hospitals aren’t overrun...so declare mission accomplished and open everything up. Reframe victory as a successfully flattened curve, in order to extract us from this mess.

I posted this on another thread:

Experts fear 'national naivete' on COVID optimism.

Experts should fear an end to the 'national naivete' in regards to experts.

There's abundant reason to display skepticism, even cynicism in regards to 'experts' and their models.

We know 100% that the experts and models have been wrong.

We can deduce that experts' mild mannered exterior covers a ruthless authoritarian core. They don't have a problem with locking down the economy and the country for 18 months, during which citizens will have to raise their hands and ask permission to go to the bathroom. This isn't a problem for them...they prefer this state.

They LIKE the current state...and there seems to be no hurry to find a treatment or a vaccine. Any progress has come as a result of wingtip suppositories applied liberally by PT.

We have 'experts' telling us that the most successful treatment shows only 'anecdotal' success and will require another 12-18 months of study to prove. Meantime we have government officials outlawing the use. We're told that vaccines are also...12-18 months off.

I'll repeat that for emphasis...they have no problem with the current state of affairs...they LIKE it. Woe be to us if their druthers become determinate.

For them, there's no possible scenario where the cure is worse than the disease.

FU moron. People are being arrested for having a wedding or funeral. ONE man BY HIMSELF ON A BEACH was arrested in southern California.

Unfounded? Nazi bastard.

Never claimed to be a doctor. Only claimed to have a brain.

By the way, the PeakProsperity videos that I was posting, turns out that guy is a doctor, has a PHD in pathology. Who knew? I just thought he was making a lot of sense.

Why are you always throwing false accusations?

Oh, so you’re NOT a doctor. Good to know, because you would kill more people than you would heal.

The FearBros are having full out delirium tremens symptoms today. Wouldn’t be surprised at some suicide attempts next week.

“It’s literally like living in a foreign culture. Everyone running around so full of fear, I don’t know how to act around them.”
That’s for sure. There’s suspicion in everybody’s eyes. No conversations, and especially no kidding around.
In Walmart yesterday I watched people in checkout slowly turning their heads to see if anyone was encroaching into their space, then there were glares. The ones wearing masks were constantly touching them which is supposed to be a no-no.

Luckily, so far, not here in Eastern Nevada. A trip to Smith's grocery indicated a 25-max-in-store (same at Wal-Mart). Thought there'd be a line up but walked right in and had a friendly clerk wipe down the cart handles. People on line kept their distance, joked with the cashier (they all were masked, as were the baggers). Everybody was OK.

Same at Wal-Mart. Joked with the people-counter about at least getting some fresh air. Only about half, if that, wore masks, and all were low-key.

Water plentiful, with paper goods starting to appear, although a one-each limit prevails.

Only a drive-in at KFC and McDonalds open. This town depends on gamblers and snowbirds and the place is DESERTED. You know their budget had been creamed Big Time.

Ditto. Trump ran against elitists and Beltway wonks being in charge. He needs to get back to that.

Plenty of other doctors out there who view the situation more realistically.

Nearly all of us who aren’t doctors have more common sense than Tony Fauci. That’s really his point.

There is no evidence for your claim

As a matter of fact the fact you made the claim is a lack of common sense

Fauci wants to antibody test 350 million Americans and give those who test positive a clearance certificate.

That’s a logistical impossibility. The man is a loon.

I wonder how many people on those ships are asymptomatic or immune. I suspect a very large percentage.
