The numbers above have some grey area but essentially fewer people are dying now than in past years. A demographer might say there is a slight trend up or down in overall death rates due to an aging population. Regardless, overall death rates are way harder to fudge than cause of death numbers.
But Flubros and Bras don’t need numbers to smell a rat. We have a manufactured crisis.
A silver lining? When this is done there will be an anti-modeler/anti-scientist movement in America. This may help the world clue in that if modelers are wrong about Corona then maybe they are also wrong about global warming.

With up to 50k deaths from the complications of the Flu this season and up to 80k on a bad season; it really hasn't been any worse than the Flu so far with 16k WuFlu blamed deaths in the USA at this time. Who knows how many of them were really from some other cause. Of course the powers that be say it was the "social distancing" thing causing the 'now' lower fatalities. It's like saying "if only one life is saved" but there's no way to prove it actually did.
My personal belief is nearly everyone will eventually be exposed to this virus so then it simply depends on an individuals immune system response, what vitamins and foods they routinely ingest, and how the medical profession treats those who get sick enough to be admitted to the treatment centers. It appears the left is against anything that helps. They want people to die much like they want as many babies to be killed in the womb as possible.

"Fearbros" are starting to sound like a Global Warming advocates. Anyone brings up the fact that leftists are using the situation to push their agenda forward, hey immediately start mocking and dismissing them out of hand as a "flubro". The fearbros seem to be unable to decouple the idea that the left is pushing their agenda and the fact that the China Virus is a serious issue. In their mind it seems only one can be true at any given time. I am waiting with baited breath for them to call someone a science denier. Well you are right in the sense that I won’t formally protest if they extend it a month. I will simply complain here and to people I know...but I will break any fake law that I don’t agree with. I will, for example, never wear a mask and I won’t stop exercising/working out/family time in public places.

I work from home when I work, so tomorrow is no different than 2018...
I go for my walks. I miss going to the gym...but I have a small one in the basement.
My wife is immuno-compromised because of chemo, so we have been very careful for the past six months—and have three months to go. So again, no change in our lives.
Her hospital (where she is working from home—she is also a writer—is still looking for a peak next week. After hearing the numbers today for her hospital, I told her the peak has passed. They will trickle in now.)
Just curious and I am not trying to pick any kind of “fight.” I am curious how you all are planning to celebrate Easter this year? Is your church having services? Are you having a family gathering?
My church is all online.
My local family are first responders and my wife is undergoing chemo—so we have been keeping our distance for a while. I do miss my granddaughter—she has been an God-send for us during the Chemo months.
Anyway...I wish those of you who celebrate a happy and peaceful Easter. This one will be weird...
