Not sure I understand all of your post, and it doesn't appear to be a reply to any of my previous posts to you.
But yes, I have always been concerned about the flu, but for more professional reasons. I made sure all the people who worked for me were immunized, as influenza running through a US Navy ship had a major impact on readiness. As far as preventing influenza deaths, I recently posted this:
"Every year, less than half of Americans get flu shots, and thousands die of a preventable disease. As far as Americans are concerned, "old people" are just not valued. If the flu killed 20,000 young or middle aged people every year, I guarantee you at least 90% would get a flu shot. In fact, there would probably be laws or public health regulations to compel it. The same goes with CV19..."
