I USED TO like Sessions. Apparently Trump did too.
As Inspector Clouseau always says “Not anymore”.
Sessions should go to Florida, welcome and shake hands with each and every passenger disembarking from the Zaandam and Rotterdam cruise ships.
Mr Sessions had his chance and he let the entire country down. Not to mention our Commander in Chief!

To be completely fair, consider that if a man of conscience recuses for what he believes are good reasons, reconsideration requires negating those “good reasons”.
I do not believe Sessions is evil, but I do firmly believe he is deceived by evil.
Sessions is a weak knee political hack. As AG he failed the country, failed Trump, and turned himself into a laughing stock. Enough is enough. Retire gracefully, Jeff before you make another disgrace of yourself.

Never. They’ll come up with some other excuse to explain this. I’ll put my money on “Trump trying to obfuscate his ties to Sessions and that Sessions is only running for Senate so that Trump’s people could say this to him.” They are zealots.
You could show them cold, hard facts as to why the entire scheme they fell for is total nonsense, and they’ll still cling to their firm belief that there are magical things taking place behind the scenes to put the Deep State out to pasture based on info from some anonymous source on the internet.
There is NOTHING going on behind the scenes. NOTHING. I’d LOVE to be proven wrong. I would gladly admit I was wrong. However, we are a mere 7 months away from the election and the people that were breaking the law and wiretapping Trump are still free.
Absolutely nobody except for TRUMP faced “justice” over the entire Ukraine issue. Think about that ... the President of the United States was impeached for events related to Ukraine, but the scumbags that were actually doing illegal things still walk the streets.
Sorry for the rant. I just feel like the whole “anon” thing is a big distraction for people that would otherwise be doing more good online instead of sitting there discussing crap posted by someone that has pulled off the greatest internet scam of all time. Garbage like that site keeps people’s hands idle and opens up a lot of opportunity for con artists to rip people off.
Maybe Sessions could get Rod RosenWeasel to endorse him. How would that go?
Trump is just one man and the Deep State has been entrenched for decades. There was no way that Trump was going to be able drain the swamp all by himself.
Nevertheless, I am so impressed with what this man has been able to accomplish during his first term. And I think he gets a second term. But even that will not be enough. We are going to have to find an outsider candidate in 2024 that will continue what Trump started. Otherwise, if an establishment candidate is elected in 2024, he/she will quickly undo what Trump has accomplished just as Trump was able to quickly undo the Obama years.
It took decades to build the Deep State. It will take decades to undo it. We must look for others besides Trump.
Sessions should recuse himself from his own campaign. That’s the one thing he was successful at doing.
He’s a snake. I got tired of defending him against the Rino’s here.
I remember a certain Freeper that was supposedly “in the know” with the Trump administration that goes by 2 initials for his Freeper name, that was saying Sessions was working behind the scenes and the Horowitz and Huber investigation was going after the guilty parties under the radar. We still haven’t heard a peep from the Durham investigation either. I don’t think that guy ever admitted he was wrong...
I heard Barr say that indictments would come in the spring, “April-May”.
Remember all the “Trust Sessions” garbage that was foisted around here? Sessions is a world class weasel, a human stain, a coward, and a traitor. He has a ton of nerve going back to Alabama after he betrayed our president and cost us a senate seat.

I heard Sessions explain why he had a genuine legal obligation to recuse himself, but he did not explain why he did not resign.

Sessions loved and trusted the Department of Justice where he began his legal career. Foolishly, as AG, he let himself be manipulated and conned by the dishonest, anti-Trump rogue DOJ that he was appointed to supervise and reform. Instead, Sessions was weak and inert, preferring to accommodate Trump’s enemies rather than have them trash his reputation. In politics, honesty and good intentions mean little if you are not prepared to fight. Sessions should have retired instead of seeking vindication through a return to the Senate. He deserves to lose.
