i’m starting to totally believe that; it also explains why Nancy is reluctant to pass a clean stimulus bill, why the fake stream enemedia is downplaying the likely cure, and why they keep hammering President Trump with BS “gotcha” questions instead of trying to elicit useful information, as well as their usual tactic of trying to create a false narrative of “dissension” between President Trump and his team of COVID-19 advisers ...

Propaganda is one of the Deep State’s most powerful tools, and they OWN the “lamestream media”. “Fake news”, despite its name, is a very real phenomenon, and it has been used with great adroitness and skill by persons moving behind the scenes who are trying to secure outcomes that are of little benefit to the vast majority of Americans, even some who take comfort in the misrepresentations they hear every day.
For those of us who do not take comfort in the daily misinterpretation of fact and events, the answer is obvious. Trying to turn the herd aside so they do not go over the side of the cliff may be a futile task, but some few can be averted from that headlong dash, and survive to live another day.
The COVID-19 Wuhan virus is just another iteration of a mutant strain of microorganisms that happens to strike at a vulnerability of civilized societies, but like every other widespread illness that has ever struck mankind (smallpox, bubonic plague, typhus, cholera, the Spanish flu, tuberculosis, HIV, or swine flu), eventually there is sufficient “herd immunity” built up, and sufficient attention given to some rather basic principles of hygiene, that the disease “runs its course” and recovery begins.
Yes, it is bad. Combating it will be costly. But we are not without a vast number of means at our disposal to control and reverse the course of events, and put the bad genie back in the bottle. We do not have to stuff a whole bunch of useless responses in with the real efforts to carry out this mission.
Just the basics are necessary, and with a sunset provision on the whole program, conditioned on assurances the problem is contained.

Bingo, exactly what I have been thinking for a few days. They are no hurry to get this done because they KNOW that this is another manufactured crisis. With one goal - to get DJT. Well, looks like old Wiley Coyote has failed again.

That Eugene Wu, MD must be a fake. He always tweets responses right after the president tweets. Either that or he is a totally worthless doctor. Someone who has twitter needs to tell him so.
Looking at this virus as a businessman rather than a bureaucrat.
He doesn’t undermine my trust in his leadership one bit. Does he yours?
His date is in no way chiseled in stone. He gave a time frame, that in turn gave hope to the market and stocks had their single best day ever.
He will assess it before going ahead with his desires, based on what the realities are on the ground at that time. He only cares about his reelection because he loves this country and we the people.
I am sure he hates the job. He certainly does not need the job, he made more money than he does as president even if he was accepting the salary it pays, instead of donating it all to worthy causes.
To me that shows dedication to this country and her citizens, not his burning desire to be president for 4 more years. He's right to call out those who constantly make his task harder.
