It was a revolver, not a semi automatic. https://www.ksdk.com/mobile/article/news/local/st-louis-officer-charged-in-fellow-officers-death-makes-first-court-appearance/63-57e89dcc-12a1-4bd6-b70b-e282e36eef16
According to court documents, Hendren met Alix at his apartment in the 700 block of Dover Thursday morning. Hendren was on-duty at the time and Alix was not. While at his apartment, both officers -on duty- were playing with guns when Hendren took out a revolver. Hendren emptied the cylinder of the revolver and put one cartridge back in it. He spun the cylinder, pointed the gun away and pulled the trigger. The gun didnt fire. Alix took the gun and pointed it at Hendren and pulled the trigger, it didnt fire then either. Hendren took the gun back, pointed it at Alix and pulled the trigger. But this time, the gun fired, hitting Alix in the chest. She was taken to the hospital where she later died.

If not, we're lucky to have these 2 morons off the street.

"Unfortunately, neither one was very smart and they were playing with a semi-automatic handgun."I'm pretty sure that was meant as humor.

Lost a dude from my senior class (1976) to Russian Roulette. Happened shortly after we graduated.
That was in Florida, in case you didn't guess which state.
