A good book that centers on the Neandertals is the novel, “The Clan of the Cave Bear”. All the people in the book are Neandertals except for the heroine.
I have read all the books in the series. When I heard this report on the radio, I did not catch the part about it being an newly discovered skeleton. I thought, why all the fuss, it was in Clan of the Cave Bear over 20 years ago.
