I am saddened by the family’s loss. However, any person or family whose whole world revolves around a football team should re-examine their priorities. No matter how many games or titles your team wins, it’s not going to defeat world hunger and it’s not going to advance world peace. In fact, it’s not even going to help an old lady to cross the street. In the big scheme of things, sports outcomes are ultimately meaningless.
