The deep state went bat shit crazy about Ukraine, not because they are worried about Biden (he’s only there for entertainment until they figure out who their candidate will be) but because Trump mentioned Crowdstrike and a server in his phone call. That showed them he knew what was up, and that he might get hold of that server from a friendly Ukraine government. They had to change the focus to Trump and put him on the defensive while they also play for time and work to take out their enemies in Ukraine.
