In some fonts, rn and m look the same. The eye may pick up rn as m and you will read it as Comey, but a search engine will not. So if you search for "Comey" but the document says "Corney" it won't show up in search results. Hiding in plain sight.
I've been Christmas shopping all day in the pouring rain. I have been super busy the last few weeks and haven't followed very closely since the Corney thing was discovered (Duck season you know). From what I have gathered during my limited time it seems as if the Corney thing is a ruse to fool search engines that are employed for fulfilling FOIA requests. So if an engine were searching documents in relation to Comey it would return no hits if it is seeing Corney instead. So attempts to avoid FOIA is all I know at the moment
