We know now for sure that those running the European Investment Bank are a special kind of stupid-I had no idea the people of Europe were so eager to return to the Dark Ages...

I’m kinda stunned that the concept of freedom from government, has never really caught on in Europe.

But I’m also kinda stunned more and more of our citizens don’t get it!

The EU should set an example, and stop using any petroleum-based products, including tires and clothing and plastics, etc.

Let them set a scheduled date for finalization of the fossil-fuel-free society, something like 5 years.

Then, let’s see how ALL their countries go into full-fledged economic failures. Somalia might become an example of what the good times used to be like. And, the U.S. would have to promise not to come to their rescue, no matter what.

"Smoke billows from a plant just outside the French capital, Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2019 in Paris. The world's thirst for oil will continue to grow until the 2030s, with climate-damaging emissions climbing until at least 2040 — and consumers' insatiable appetite for SUVs is a big reason why. The idiot cannot tell the difference between smoke and steam, with the usual propaganda thrown in.

Stupid decision, but I’m sure other banks will be there to fill in the slack.

What I don’t understand is how this would affect the industry that much. Most of the big hydrocarbon companies should easily be able to self-finance their projects. Smaller companies have plenty of other banks to choose from.
