Medical staff at a Detroit hospital say they have performed the world’s first double-lung transplant on a person with vaping-related lung injuries.
The team from the city’s Henry Ford Health System called the operation the first of its kind for a “patient whose lungs were irreparably damaged from vaping,” according to a Monday news release.

And like i said- vapers by and large tend to really inhale very deeply- and hold it in long too- This can’t be good for hte4 lungs- lungs were meant to breath clean air- not vapor of any kind for long periods of time in great quantities, every few minutes- The lungs need breaks- vapers tend to vape continuously- The kid likely wouldn’t have had the issues if he had vaped moderately, and didn’t use the Vit E added vape juice IF that’s what he used-

That was my first thought, too. Sort of like David Crosby mysteriously getting bumped to the top of the list getting a new liver
The CDC has traced all of the “vaping related” illnesses and deaths to illegal, black market THC cartridges. There are no known cases of anyone dying or becoming ill using legal vape devices and substances.
According to CDC only illegal products are the ones tainted with a compound that is killing people not the store bought stuff, like ‘Bath tube Gin’ during the prohibition.
These are people who are buying illegal THC(Pot) and getting bad results.
