If white people attacked blacks every time a black called a white person a honky, whitey, or cracker, the black population half the black population would be recovering from a dozen broken bones. Seriously, if you’re so mentally fragile and weak that a word drives you to attempted murder, then you are not fit for society.

The sex of the victim is absolutely key here. If it were a 55 yo male, some kind of defense may have been made. That said, she looked pretty weak and her only defense was to safeguard her purse. Gender was key here also to the types of injuries sustained. Also, if I may really agitate you...actions have consequences, both ways.

I’m not sure specifically what you are referring to but in a nation of laws, legal actions are not supposed to receive illegal consequences. So if you are referring to the victim’s words somehow inciting violence against her, then no, that is what the law is supposed to protect us from.
Hey, “southern rock” - I just had to know, so I looked you up. Sure enough, you ain’t from around here (New Jersey ain’t the South).
The real men down here do think it’s pretty stupid to fight over something as trivial as chicken. But no matter what you fight about, a real Southern man puts attacking women into a whole ‘nother category. If you attack a woman, the reason for the fight is almost not relevant any more.

So, unless I have totally misunderstood your post, “Thank you.” Just trying to explain the comment with regard to those of us who live down here.
My wife had a career of her own, as an Engineer, and my sons have married very smart career women themselves. Many of the old “real man” characteristics are worth keeping, and I’ve kept them, passing them to the next generation. If you really want to make me nuts, just bother my wife a little.
I believe Christ would want us to protect those who might not be able to protect themselves, no matter who they are.
After a long discussion over a pitcher of beer

Yes indeed “law” person. The law worked real well for her in this case. Real world consequences. Did she deserve to have her ass beat for boorish behavior? Yeah, probably. Should the employee and subject of her abuse been better served by showing restraint? Yes. Not the way it all worked out though.
Moral of the story: If you don’t want to get that ass beaten down in front of Popeyes, don’t call an employee, a black man in the presence of many other black people, the “N” word.
You need any more amplification on the matter?

Bless your heart! One of us didn’t get the memo on that. Which was civilized? The cause or the effect? The one with the mouth or the one with the hands? The sad thing here is that after her body heals, her heart is ill still be disgustingly warped. He will answer for his crime as is such in a civilized society.
