Lookit, I am a great devotee to DWTS, not that I have a bunch of righteous pride over that fact.

And let’s not hesitate, Sean Spicer is a terrible dancer.

But DWTS always has several things, as I enumerate:
-one of the bachelors or bachelorettes from that ABC series “The Bachelor(ette).
-a football player
-a very old former star
-some sort of political figure
-a former childhood star

They have had people win that were terrible dancers before. Many made their way to the top three that weren’t good.

It’s part of their schtick. It keeps up the interest.

And let’s not forget that President Trump publicly asked people to vote for Spicer, at least as I hear. But again, it’s part of their schtick. You got a president talking up your show, you are a success.

Spicer is not going to win this thing. He might make the top three, maybe even second place.

But he’s got a friendly disposition, wears some pretty outrageous outfits with a good sense of humor, he gets nostalgic when mourning a family death.

He’s well liked! He dances like an elephant but smiling the whole time.

Winning on DWTS, at least up to the last minute, is as much about personality as dancing talent.

Finally, Christine Brinkley’s daughter replaced her when the former super model allegedly fractured her ankle and so conveniently her young, beautiful and agile daughter was able to take her place.

She was a good dancer, Sailor (who names their kid this?) Brinkley but she got thrown off early on.

Americans don’t much like cheaters.
