Now you all are wondering why I posted this? Next time the pro aborts scream foul and that pro lifers make them "scared" when they are outside of their abortion mill remember this story. Abortion workers did not even make this list!

I’ve got 3, maybe 4 of the top 10 under my belt - guess I’m a sucker for punishment.

5. Refuse and recyclable material collectors<

This used to be a manly (and possibly dangerous) job. One guy riding on the side of the truck... Dumping trash cans in the back and operating the crusher...
Now all they do is stay in their truck and operate the automation.

My dad was a lobsterman - solo. They all go out in pairs now. Couldn’t hardly swim either. Got a trap line caught around his leg one time but he was strong enough to hang on with one hand and had access to a knife to cut the line. Once those traps get down a few hundred feet, they’re pulling pretty hard.

I’ve done half of the things on the list, just not professionally.

I survived 7 years of 2 of those as a teenager and working through college for my undergrad degree. Funny, I don’t even remember any close calls.

Wow, I am one of there most daring men in the world.

I work love fishing off boats, I do yard work and landscaping in my own yard, and for others if needed, I have and still do do roofing when needed, I also help some Carpenters as an extra hand if needed, I collect recyclable items to save money, I drive a truck from time to time, I have and will again work on a ranch or farmland if needed, I worked at a Rock Quarry as a welder repair man when was younger, I do painting if needed, I played sports as a football player in High School, and helped coach young players, plus I hitchhiked across America at least 2 times when I was younger.

I am a bad ass!

There isn’t a lot of pressure from women’s groups or the media to hire more women for these jobs.

Well, as a lumberjack for a year I saw a couple. Trees fall in funny ways sometimes. As a truck driver, I’ve seen more than I care to remember.

Oh, I was also a tanker in the military driving, gunning, and commanding a tank that was the first of it’s kind to shoot a guided missile back in the early 1970s.

For you information, the tankers have 0ne of the shortest life spans of any job in the military.

Plus, since I was also scout, my life span was considered even shorter.
