Kristol and his ilk are in no ways conservative — not on immigration / borders, not on the 2A, not on abortion, not on trade, not on LGBTQueers, not on anything. Their claim to (alleged) conservative fame is that they were staunch Cold Warriors. Big friggen deal. So were a lot of libs. That is my impression from reading that long list of tweets. Billy and others think Kelly and Mattis should “do” something. I think they miss on both the Generals. They are both on Trump’s side with differences. Trump used Mattis, in particular, for a particular job that Mattis was highly qualified for. He did that job and was not needed any more. Different qualities were then required. Kelly quit in a snit and now seems to regret it.
As if they haven’t already “spoken privately”. What an idiot. The Senators still have to face their constituents. THAT makes all the difference.
Trump is the peoples’ president and Senators have to live with that reality.

He’s thinking impeachment - each general contacts the 10 senators he knows best - I don’t know why Kristol thinks each set of 10 would be completely different, and why all 10 in each list would vote to convict. 20 R’s plus 47 D’s is enough to convict.
