In a dig that went beyond a fashion statement, the creative director of Louis Vuitton slammed President Trump as a joke following the commander in chiefs visit to the French brands new workshop in Alvarado, Texas, last week.
Designer Nicolas Ghesquière blasted Trump in a recent Instagram post after the president appeared at a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the luxury retailers new leather workshop in Johnson County on Thursday.

The joke is on people who pay exorbitant prices for the same thing you can get at Walmart.
Then shut it down! Jeez! If you’re not an adult you’re going to have a rough go! See tagline!
Is he a citizen?
Are his papers in order?
Is he here legally?
Angry homo would be my guess.
So this is a foreign worker, one of many there and not the CEO or even in management, calling our president a joke, and it makes it into the news.
Seems to me, that this would be a good basis to fire the SOB...
Real classy guy, this Ghesquière.
Nikki Gee He’s Queer, a handbag designer. How could you ever guess? The joke’s on you, Ranger.
Arrogant POS.
Vutton can say all he wants, but he is still paying people in the USA to produce his stuff. You pay the freight, you can say what you want.
One must knuckle under to the orthodoxy to stay in the good graces of the left. And, generally speaking, the left the market for their over priced stuff.
Some folks just can’t stand prosperity. Not enough adversity in their lives, they have to go out and invent some.
Most singularly ungrateful and gratuitously spiteful, an opinion that need never have been voiced aloud for public consumption.
“Ghesquière”
Is that like ‘Gay Squire”??
People like Vuitton are beyond sick and twisted. November 4th, 2020 will be hell on earth for these pathetic excuses of humanity.
OK. Way to poop on 1/2 of your customer base.
DJT is worth several billion dollars and is President of the United States.
You are neither ;-)
This is just Fox stirring it up.
This person is no doubt a French employee just expressing their opinion. It’s not some official statement by the company.
People should be able to express their opinions, freedom of speech. Never killed anyone. I’m sure plenty of employees of Louis Vutton, or however you spell it are conservatives. Granted, if they say anything then they’d probably get fired.
The French mocked Churchill and loved Chamberlain, too.
He has to do this. The left is already calling for a boycott and for the Vuitton company to be destroyed and the plant in Texas to be shut down. I dont think he realized what a dangerous thing he was doing by attempting merely to expand his business and take advantage of a favorable offer made by the lefts public enemy #1.
