I watched “Rocketman” they other day. I’ve nothing against Elton John and like his music, but that was a gay movie, produced by gays, with a gay worldview, about gay corruption and problems.
It has been many years since I have seen a decent current movie.
I eagerly awaited “Pearl Harbor” only to see a weird joke of a movie.
One could only imagine the sort of tawdry, contrived burlesque Cinderella they have in mind.
It should be renamed “Dog Whistle, Boulevard, for Adults Only”.

The actors at London's Globe Theater (Shakespeare's home field) did it long before that. And the Greeks did it long before them.
However, it was done for practical reasons, not to push a deviant agenda.
Wouldn’t this be cultural appropriation. Not to mention gender appropriation which I don’t think is a thing yet but maybe it should be.
