Ditto, keto diet. Also avoid liquid vegetable oils. Your brain needs bacon and butter.

I am 100% behind that, whatever you don’t consume the body will make.
I take 0 Meds and am in a LOT better shape now (and 50lbs lighter) than when My DR was feeding me Drugs.
I fired him as my GP, I still see him at Church but now he outweighs me. I like him, He takes cash and last time I saw him he sewed me up when no one else would so for me he is a Good Guy!

Agree. It is not the dietary fat and cholesterol that raises ones cholesterol. It is the combination of dietary fat and carbohydrates. In particular, carbs from highly processed foods.

My Doctor is a big proponent of the Ketogenic diet. Having done it for two years, my numbers are basically half of what they were and my A1C is well down too.
