For reasons unknown, Trump's Inspector General of the CIA was originally appointed by Obama.
Also, Michael Atkinson, Trump's Inspector General of the Intelligence Community, which includes all agencies outside the CIA, was an Assistant U.S. Attorney for Washington D.C. under Obama.
Obama then promoted Atkinson to a National Security job in Obama’s Department of Justice.
For reasons unknown, Trump nominated Atkinson to be IG Intelligence Community in 2017.
It’s not even a real, voted on impeachment inquiry. It is a sham and holds no weight under law. That is also the reason why they are sending out “request” letters, not subpoenas that hold force of law.

I’m confused as to what a hearsay “witness” can add over the actual tape and transcript of a call.
It would seem to me that the recording would be the best evidence of what happened, not what someone told someone what happened.
But that’s just me.
