Look, you might think the teams in your town stink.
And theres a good chance you might even be right. Its much easier to disappoint a fanbase than please one, so odds are good you have jerseys of a few bad teams hanging in your closet right now.
But do me a favor: The next time you get down about another missed playoff spot or mourn a choked-away game, look up to the sky and thank heavens for just one thing.
That youre not a fan of Miami sports teams.
Because, man, do they really stink.
And if you actually are a fan of the Dolphins, Marlins, Heat, Panthers or Hurricanes?

Miami like any other Sun Belt city has the reputation of being a front running town.

The only pro football game I’ve ever attended was the Super Bowl where the Dolphins won every game that season and beat the Redskins.

Miami might be better suited for a professional soccer team?

Michigan sports fans ain't exactly "liv'n in the tall cottons" these days.
At least Miami has nice weather outside when "someone else's team" plays on Super Bowl Sunday.

Ironically they had one, but it folded. Supposedly David Beckham intends to start an expansion team there but every site he picks for a stadium gets shot-down by enviroweenies.

True but there was the 108 year world series championship drought of the Chicago Cubs. Its hard to top that although I know shorter lived teams have never won any championship so there is that too.

Q. What do the New York Rangers have in common with Elizabeth Warren?
A. They can both draw a crowd of 20,000 in Manhattan.
And they both suck.

Yup, sorry: out, not up. Been a LOoooong time since seeing that movie; don’t have much interest in supporting Carrey’s career these days. Pity, he was almost funny back then.

LOL, I’ve been to both cities.

This is why sports is dying. These expansion teams/cities suck the talent from the established teams and water the sport leagues down. Seeing a Marlins game in a billion dollar stadium with 1000 fans is pathetic. Maybe I am jealous in that Miami has more championships than Philadelphia.
