BTW do any of you know how often I read stories like these? How many parents force their girls either under age or adult to have abortions? Happens more than you would think.
In the old days they took a pregnant girl to a convent and locked her away with the nuns. Now they take her to the abortion clinic.
Our society really needs to change it’s attitude on how it deals with a pregnancy like this. They are in fact saying “the baby is the problem” so let’s kill the baby and every thing will be back to normal. Or let’s hide the girl away until the baby is gone.
It’s not the end of the world just because a woman/girl got pregnant at the wrong time.
There is no other way to say the truth about something that is exceedingly harsh and cruel to innocent blood. They are not responsible for the circumstances of their lives.
I realize that there are such hard cases, rare though they may be and no justification for the vast majority of abortions, which is why I’ve opined that in them we still need to hold somebody criminally responsible for the death of the child and in this case it should be the rapist, who by negligence or intent essentially put their child at risk even if there were no abortion. This should be an added concurring crime in most any rape/molestation.
Because: screw them for screwing them!
Also, I believe in the case of false accusation the accuser should be liable for the same penalty that they accused. Same with perjury is someone knowingly lies to get a someone condemned that they know to be innocent.
