For all his faults, Bill was always a looker with no problem attracting women. What the heck did he see in her?

She told him in a letter the other women wouldn’t get him to where he wanted to go and she would - she’d help him be POTUS and then he was to do the same for her.

I read once that he told his mother who couldn’t understand what he saw in Hillary was “I nee someone to talk to”.

She’s more than Bill - more ambitious, more evil, more scheming, more money hungry - I guess he liked that so he sold his soul.

But still...why did he ever look at her in the first place?

Bill needed the discipline. He needed somebody to push him.

Also: opposites attract. She was different from the girls he usually knew and the girls who liked him.

Some people are attracted to people who don't like them at first (or at all). More of a challenge, I guess.
