The SEC announced Monday that Alabama’s Sept. 21 home game against Southern Mississippi will kickoff at 11 a.m. local time. The school is not happy about it.

The school is so displeased with the news that president Stuart R. Bell and athletic director Greg Byrne released a statement to express the Tide’s position on the matter. “We are disappointed that our game against Southern Miss has been selected as a daytime kickoff at home,” the statement said. “We realize we’ve played more non-conference day games at home in September than any other SEC team since 2014. Yep, agree so much. I hated playing night games. You had to sit around all day...waiting and waiting. Then, you didn’t have very time to get together with friends or family after the game.

In terms of scheduling and prime TV time this one surprises me.

10:15 PM ET ESPN2

Portland State (1-1) vs 22 Boise State (2-0)

Albertsons Stadium, Boise, ID

Blue field baby, Boise is dominant at home. Only 37 losses in the last 31 years since they got a blue field.

ESPN think Boise has a 97.2% chance of winning this game.
