I've produced/engineered records for 30 years. Started on 2-inch analog tape and moved on to digital, like everybody else, to save time and money. I've worked with hundreds of artists and engineers and NOT ONE of them prefer digital to analog. Just because your ears cannot discern the OBVIOUS superiority of analog does not change reality. Anybody who says digital is better is merely contrarian. That, or they just crappy ears. Usually it's both.
