We, and a bunch of pot smoking derelicts were on the way out to the day's territory to canvas, Covina, when the news came over the radio in a Van. I did my first street and as I was sitting on a corner waiting to be picked up, a woman drove up in her car. She sat in it for while. She got out and saw me and said......"Did you know Elvis died?" I said, yes.....I heard. Then she said, what a shame and walked in.
