UT v tamu USED to be a great rivalry, until tamu decided they would have better luck in the SEC. Texas won the last game between the two.

Norwich v Middlebury went on for 100 years. Then Middlebury turned into pussies and went into another conference.

Ruined a perfectly good, one sided rivalry.’

That’s OK. I am sure they would be constantly triggered by seeing real men across the line.

I would put The Game over the Iron Bowl. THE Ohio State University v. Michigan are usually playing for a title. That game also has delivered throughout the years. The Iron Bowl delivered one of the greatest moments in college football “The Kick 6” but mostly it is Auburn trying to play spoiler. I am showing my Generation X bias but I would replace The Egg Bowl with The U v. Notre Dame or better known as Catholics v. Convicts. Nobody outside the state of Mississippi cares about he Egg Bowl. There was nothing bigger than The U v. Notre Dame. Those games were about the Parvenu v. Blue Bloods, Pro Style v. Option, fatigues v. jacket and tie. Many of us Domer haters relished the Domers getting their comeuppance. One moments that still burns is when The U lost by 1 point at South Bend. The U went on to beat several conference champions and like and deserved a rematch. Well the Domers played a WVU team went undefeated off a horrible schedule. I loved the revival of the game in 2017. I felt like I was young again.

I spent a lot of time in the Carolinas.

There is one rivalry which is really fierce and yet doesn’t seem to get much press. Clemson vs. South Carolina. Lately it hasn’t been much of a game but still they seem to hate each other.

Also Kansas, Kansas State is a good one.

Roll Tide! The Iron Bowl makes me more nervous than any game Bama plays all year.

Saying UT & M&A have a rivalry is like saying a humans have a rivalry with ants.

To break even with UT, M&A has to win twice as many games as they've won in the series since it started... In other words, M&A loses 2 for every one they win.

What about Harvard/Yale?

I don't think that the list includes junior colleges.

Naturally, Yale-Harvard doesn't make the Greatest Rivalries in College Football History list because the players don't get free $200 shoes advertised in SPORTS ILLUSTRATED and made by pre-teens in China at a dollar an hour.
