trump and administration imho could not have passively acquiesced to an epstein hit. besides epstein himself (innocent until proven guilty and deserving due process), too many innocent possible epstein victims would be affected by denying their right to see him face his day in court for alleged crimes.
another possibility is a body switch, but that has some of the same problems. technically, it is illegal and it violates due process.
that leaves 3 more options. (1) suicide; (2) a hit with insider help. (3) a hit without insider help.
(1) and (2) have been hashed around already. I am wondering about (3). i looked at the warden (skipper-scott) facebook account. it does not seem to reveal anything unusual, not to mention nefarious. as of an hour ago, it was still up, although with a couple of inquisitive comments. my tentative conclusion was that the warden probably had no direct active role in the epstein hit, but that she might have been a convenient patsy who was simply sidelined, along with lax procedures and lax enforcement of those procedures. apparently skipper scott is an interim warden and just treading water in that position, while waiting for a permanent warden to be appointed.
a hit without insider help would leave open that the perps could be brit or israeli actors.
if it was deep staters, then they are (besides attempting to cover their tracks somewhat in the open) sending trump a message, that we can reach out and touch almost anyone we please. that if true is somewhat frightening to contemplate...

continuing for a moment along the lines of “follow the money,” has anyone considered yet the coincidence that les wexner claimed he was financially bilked by epstein only about 24 hours prior to epstein’s “suicide”? criminal proceedings against epstein will cease, but civil proceedings against epstein’s estate will begin or continue. with his fortune at beck and call to mount a legal challenge in civil courts, wexner would be a big fish swimming with many little fish in this litigation tsunami. another thought: wexner may have gained more in publicity points than he would stand to gain in added wealth if he were to prevail in civil court against epstein’s estate, but his ballet-like timing still seems very suspicious to me.
the silver lining is that no deep stater can be totally certain that epstein was not offed while in fed pen custody. trump merely has to toss a deep stater suspect into a federal prison, let him / her simmer in the thought that the next in-custody victim might just be him / her, and there is not a single thing that they can do to stop it if the hidden powers that be determine that their number is up. this might loosen some tongues that would otherwise remain silent.
as i recall, jack ruby died in prison after claiming that he knew more than he had so far told investigators, and that people were trying to kill him. “My life is in danger here.” Ruby died technically unconvicted, since his conviction was overturned on appeal and he was awaiting a second trial.
We in the USA have quaint customs for high profile people held under arrest while awaiting trial.

what are the qualifications of skipper-scott? i got the sense that she has a conventional law degree, not a criminal justice or justice administration degree (i could be wrong). did she join the alabama bar association? how often do wardens have law degrees instead of degrees in these fields?
yet another odd observation is that warden skipper-scott has still not even appeared in the news yet.

Trump just beat Democrats on guns
On Thursday, as Matt Drudge and the Washington Post tried to create a split between President Donald John Trump and the NRA, I told readers “Don’t go Ann Coulter over a Washington Post story.”
The Post, a toy owned by the richest man in the world, wrote, “Trump warned by NRA over background checks.”
In response, I calmly wrote, “The important thing to remember is President Trump is taking the NRA’s calls. They are in on the negotiations. I would rather not add a law and maybe President Trump is making the liberals an offer they cannot accept. He did that with the DREAMers.”
Ah yes, in September 2017, the Ann Coulters of the world declared President Trump sold them out on amnesty. I wrote, “No, Trump did not cave.”
Two years later, amnesty is not only dead but no one talks about it. I’ll explain later why I got it and smarter people than me did not.
But first, let us look at this latest battle.
USA Today reported, “President Donald Trump said on Friday that congressional leaders are talking about new ‘meaningful background checks’ for gun buyers – but with input from the National Rifle Association and other gun groups that oppose current legislative proposals.”
Who knew?

President Trump is playing Democrats again. They want to make gun control an issue. He said, OK, and took control of the gun control debate. The debate will be on his terms and in his language. That is power positioning.
The mopes at the Post and Matt Drudge thought they could divide President Trump from his supporters with the report on the NRA warning the president on guns.
I knew in an instant what was happening. I knew Democrats would lose because President Trump never engages the enemy without first winning the battle. I also knew the president, a busy man, had outsourced the terms of the Democrat surrender to the NRA.
Whatever deal is made will have the NRA’s approval.
I knew because of the First Squeal Rule. Whenever decisions are made privately, the loser is the one who goes public first in an effort to save face.
The best example is that White House meeting two years ago with Nancy and Chuck. After the meeting, Nancy and Chuck immediately talked to the press.
Ann Coulter believed them. She said there would be amnesty and no wall. She tweeted, “At this point, who DOESN’T want Trump impeached?”
Two years later, the answer to her inane question remains the same: Normal People.
Under the First Squeal Rule, the internal discussion at the White House was over the NRA’s role in the gun debate. Those who lost the discussion went to the Post with their version of the story. That got their side out first but it did not change the outcome. It never should.
I am not saying the media gets everything about Donald Trump wrong. I am just having trouble remembering the last time they got it right.
