Grievances filed by inmates in federal, state and county prisons & jails are generally treated with the seriousness they deserve. (/sarc)
Keep in mind the majority of inmates are mentally ill, mentally deficient and/or sociopaths and pathological liars.
Any sizable facility gets hundreds or thousands of these “Grievances” per month. Allegations of rape are taken much more seriously than in the past (as they should be); but, a lot of the rest of them are just garbage emitted by mental defects.
He’s got a good point there. If they were going to do this, and do it right, it had to be plausible. It couldn’t be a ham-fisted, clumsy, amateurish, feeble attempt clearly composed by foreigners lacking in the knowledge of the necessary nuances of American culture to make it stick. One would almost think there to be a purpose behind the cartoonish allegations, and there probably was, such as it had to be lurid to capture enough eyeballs to get enough steam to get underway. But I think these people are stupid and arrogant and didn’t think anybody would dare cross them.
It’s not beyond the realm - good thought. Maybe he lay there for four hours because they checked him and thought he was asleep. Not realizing till lights on that body and soul had departed company in this earthly realm. Still, hard to imagine anyone gets away with the cyanide tooth in [current year].
The previous Epstein incident (another alleged self-injury) is dated July 23, about 18 days before his death. So Epstein was two days away from being allowed to file a formal administrative BP-9 complaint if he had wanted to do that.
And if he had wanted to do that, hopefully his lawyer (Patrick Joyce) would have advised him to file an informal complaint immediately after the incident rather than delaying for any reason, if for no other reason than for his own safety.
According to an AP article quoted by snopes, Joyce had been meeting with Epstein every day up until yesterday. When he tried to meet with Epstein yesterday, he was told that the prison was on lockdown and therefore meeting with Epstein was not possible.
Joyce met with Epstein Friday evening, according to AP.

Questions for Patrick Joyce: did Epstein file an informal complaint to the BOP for injuries sustained by Epstein on July 23 while in BOP custody? If not, why not? What did you (Joyce) advise Epstein regarding the filing of an informal complaint? If an informal complaint was filed, what was the BOP response? If the complaint was rejected, why was it rejected, and what was your subsequent advice to Epstein, and was his plan to take your advice? Did your advice include filing a BP-9 with the BOP? Have you spoken with Warden Skipper-Scott or her representative either before or after Epstein’s death, and if so, what did she or her representative say?
Surely someone in the MSM is already asking these questions. Anyone?
(Bueller?)
I know. However, Epstein was by no means a “normal” inmate, and in any case common sense requires taking more than ordinary precautions. Did we learn nothing from Lee Harvey Oswald’s death?
And Epstein was commonly regarded as a genius, not mentally deficient, prior to his most recent incarceration.
Precisely that, or else a very heavy boot from up the authority chain may appear and impose an outcome, for good, or for ill.
This is not a “great find”. It is a portal to redirect hell. Do not click on this link.
Bob’s dad had already left (6mo) by the time Epstein got there.
But it does show the terror of the RATS, too unnerved by what’s coming to check their own shit.

I know; but assume there are up-to-date substitutes for persons in JE's situation ... knowing that there are far worse possibilities and locales than Manhattan federal correctional institution.
At the risk of offending some sensibilities, two words, control (prong) collar. My sweet, but a bit unruly, lab, may he rest in peace, would have been walked a lot more if I had known of that wonderful device.

my rescue lab was found wandering in the deep south and would pull out of any collar in a total panic (Lord knows what she went through)- the only collar we could use with her for a while was a choke chain...but now she enjoys a pretty pink collar and the expanding leash and is tails up!
harness works well for escape artists and is easier on them
being that its a city jail, its not fed jurisdiction & not connected with the DoJ

sorry, WH, I was incorrect...
It’s a Twitter thread what are you talking about
