HAte to be picky, but the insect is spelled ‘beetle’. The musical group played a trick by combining it with the word ‘beat’ to make ‘beatles’ much like the much later band, the Beat Meters were making a play on the words me@t be@ters if your pardon the expression.
Though I appreciate your comment, the spelling is with a purpose.
As shocking as it may seem to some, the Beatles were an earlier manifestation of things like Facebook, Amazon, Netflix, Google, Microsoft, etc. That is, in the sense that they owed their (unusual, ha!) success to major shareholders/investors from among the “greater intel community.”
The funders and fundees all did well, because it’s an insiders’ game.
