I don’t like foul language myself but many people use it for emphasis not thinking about the actual meaning of what they said.

I agree. He didn’t need to go there. But if he isn’t a Christian he may not “get it” or understand fully what he was doing. I have no problem with most words that are considered swearing, but the Lord’s name in vain... nope.
