I recall a device from olden days called Pave Pat BLU-72B...think they were filled with around 2000 pounds of propane for clearing LZ's. (They were also written into "Hunt for Red October"...)

Roll a couple of those things down that long stairway at Pedo Island (making sure to delay that "roll" until the folks deploying 'em GTH out of the area) and you'd create all kinds of excitement. Not to mention opening doors for miles around with the pressure wave.
