Agreed.
However, if lives depended on it, most of us could—maybe with great effort—probe our social networks for trustworthy connections (however many layers out—remembering Alamo-Girl’s Clinton research etc) that might have at least some safe haven options, support options, capacities to archive the evidence etc.
While there’s life, there’s hope. God has lots of options and seeking His face in such situations can turn up many options otherwise not conceived of.
