I vote that we replace "mic drop" with "fingernails across the chalkboard." It has the same psychological effect, without implying malicious damage to someone else's expensive precision equipment.
How about we just dispense with making self-declared “pithy” statements and assigning ourselves a “(mic drop)” as if everyone else around here should agree with it?
