It was after his death that Special Agent John Trump was assigned to the case, from what I have gathered, can’t remember where.

John G Trump was an uncle of President Trump and as I understand it was a brilliant MIT professor that was also an electrical engineer. He was assigned by Vannevar Bush to go over Tesla's documents that were taken from his room and other places.
