Making the picture go away does not make the evil go away.
Some people truly cannot handle the truth!
Evil is not pretty.
Until we, as a nation, recognize that reality, we have lost our spiritual core.
Yes it is a horrible, horrible picture.

The world is filled with evil, Badger. Each of us chooses how much of it we want to allow into our recognition. You don’t choose for us. You have the right to tell people where the discussions of evil are and tell them why you encourage them to examine it, but each of us has the right to NOT become part of the slime. If that picture had stayed on FR, I would be off this site immediately and permanently. I’d never stop you from filling your consciousness with whatever you need to know to understand evil in the way that you feel right for yourself. But your right stops at your own head. To go beyond that makes you part of the problem, to me.
