I remember. Trump’s speech to the Arab world was stunning and I will always remember that the Arabs treated him way better than ANY in our own media or elite ever have.

She is the type of candidate that could really give Trump some trouble among moderates and independents. She comes off as the least crazy of the entire bunch of candidates.

That being said, there is no way she will get the Democrat Party nomination. She’s reasonable and a vet. There is no way they will let her be their candidate.

Broken clock, blind squirrel.

Anyone who supports S.A. is as much of a traitor and threat to this country as a person can be.

Saudi Arabia is not an ally. It sells us things and buys things from us, and has enjoyed privileged status among nations. Bush the Second helped Saudis leave this country without problems right after 9/11.

They love getting money from us, and use it to fund the expansion of Islam. So, because of the special relationship of the Saudi Princes to this country, they get to give us the finger.

They are not our friends. Being enemies of Iran doesn’t make them our friends.

False dichotomy; telling Saudi Arabia to F.O. doesn't mean supporting any other nation.

The only thing we have over there who *isn't* an enemy is Israel.

The Saudis are as much our enemies as the USSR or the Nazis ever were.

Tulsi is forgetting Trump’s first foreign trip and what he clearly accomplished there.

You are right that the people forgot or didn't know about it. Certainly it did not receive much mention mention in the press, mainstream or otherwise.

If you would, please give a summary of what he said, did, and accomplished.

“The Middle East is rich with natural beauty, vibrant cultures, and massive amounts of historic treasures. It should increasingly become one of the great global centers of commerce and opportunity.”

“This region should not be a place from which refugees flee, but to which newcomers flock.”

Egypt was a thriving center of learning and achievement thousands of years before other parts of the world. The wonders of Giza, Luxor and Alexandria are proud monuments to that ancient heritage.

“All over the world, people dream of walking through the ruins of Petra in Jordan. Iraq was the cradle of civilization and is a land of natural beauty. And the United Arab Emirates has reached incredible heights with glass and steel, and turned earth and water into spectacular works of art.

The entire region is at the center of the key shipping lanes of the Suez Canal, the Red Sea, and the Straits of Hormuz.

The potential of this region has never been greater.”

Just as soon as the Democrats stop pretending that the Soviet Union was ever an ally, or that the Russian Federation that was the successor to the Soviet Empire is essentially different in any fundamental way.

No nation ever really has “allies”. There are nations with whom we share common interests within a specified time period, but circumstances change, sometimes rather abruptly.

So what’s your point?
American foreign policies should be made by Saudi Arabia & Israel?

This stff makes me disrespcether

So Tulsi. given the geostrategic reality of the world energy flow, we get to choose which side of the Gulf we can work with to secure our permanent national interests which includes the energy supply to our allies.

And no, we are not in a position to replace Persian Gulf oil with US oil exports

So choose. Iran or Saudi?
Both nuc armed eventually.
Both amenable to supporting fundamentalist terrorism against the West

Unless she wants to cede the entire Region to China and Russia?

Too many here are judging the Saudis as if a solid one mund country. There’s the ruling Sunnis and the Shi’ites of the East. Then tribal conflicts on the borders to the south. Add in the Wahabbis....

You are supposed to urge Trump to nuke Berlin.

We had to ally with USSR in WWII.

No we didn’t. That was actually a big mistake. The Soviets were our enemy before, during and after WWII. We didn’t need the USSR. They needed us.
