Thank you, Dan. I watched Praying Medic last night and he wasn’t sure either. As we live in fire and earthquake country, we try to be prepared for that. It’s also a military city. They were very busy last week, this week a little quieter. Most of the time we don’t hear the jets out of the air base.

DJT said he heard a rumor that the Dems might change the name of the party to the Socialist Party!
Got it, thanks! In HI that can be the case. I think pretty soon the entire Dem party other than in local commie strongholds such as HI will be nothing but a gigantic hazmat bio hazard dumpster fire. 3 alarm.
++++!
Her father is half Samoan, she was born there but her father was born in the US, as was her mother.
The family is a decent family, I know people who know them as I used to live in HI. Her father was very active in trying to preserve marriage between man and woman only and is well known for that.
I love that meme!
I am still thinking that RR is a WH who is in on the DS take-down.
OZsome Oracle, many thanks.
a quick and cheap though temporary tap for electricity is a converter that you put into the lighter/charger in your car and run an extension into the house -
Power Inverter

The downside is you have to leave the car running, but you can charge your phone, use a light, run a sump pump, etc.
I have found that I can run a light, but not the cofefve machine. The old Mr. Coffee machine was then called into play, just using a plain drip function, not plugged in, water boiled in the fireplace ...
Hmmm....Very interesting.

Four gorgeous verses sung. Wow.
Thats the question were asking after finding new photos of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) at a border entry gate days before she won the Democratic primary.
Photographer Ivan Pierre Aguirre recently posted pictures from AOCs trip to the border last year, which depict the congresswoman crying, presumably at the sight of migrant children being inhumanely detained.
Before @AOC hit the national stage & was just a fairly unknown House candidate frm NYC,she took time awy frm her campaign & came dwn to #Tornillo to protest the #tentcity housing migrant children. Aguirre wrote on Twitter. I made these previously unpublished fotos a yr ago today.
AOC helped bring the photos international attention after writing of the images: Ill never forget this, because it was the moment I saw with my own eyes that the America I love was becoming a nation that steals refugee children from their parents,& caged them. ....
One thing that is fairly easy to do is to get a backpack and fill it with items you feel are necessary. As a woman, if I’m in my car, I often have nice dress shoes on. The last thing I want is to be caught in an earthquake or other disaster and have to walk home with nice, uncomfortable shoes. My backpack is stuffed to the brim. Flashlights, tools, work gloves, bandannas, duct tape, sweatshirt, socks, tennis shoes, water, some food bars that will last forever lol, extra batteries, a solar charger for my phone (that is if everything works), and whatever else I can shove in there. I go through my backpack twice a year. I make my husband carry one in his car as well. In the trunk of my car I also have a large tote box with more items, like towels, paper towels, a bigger first aid kit, a few gallons of water. I also have items for my dogs. This is just the vehicles, not our house. A fanny pack is also a good extra item. I rarely wear a belt, but I do wear a bait bag for dog training or keep it in my car. It’s a just in case. I have an umbrella hanging from it and pepper spray. (I’ve had a couple of dogs come after my dogs and me while walking, so hence the umbrella. Most dogs are afraid of an umbrella opening.) I may or may not carry other items lol.. then again I may have lost them while boating). I feel that’s an easy beginning. Many of us spend a lot of time in our cars, so ask if you can walk the 20 miles home in what you have on. HTH
