Name an African country that could build a ship like the Titanic TODAY, never mind a hundred years ago.
Wikipedia, FWIW, lists exactly ONE shipyard on the whole Afrcian continent.
It’s in Egypt.
It was built by the French.
In the 1850s.
With 1700 employees (per Wikipedia, FWIW), I doubt that it can build anything remotely resembling RMS Titanic.
Possibly South Africa....but from reports coming from their those chances are diminishing rapidly.
