Warning: www.FreeRepublic.com is NOT SECURE !
It is a threat to liberal teachers.
It is a threat to socialist relatives at dinnertime.
Free Republic is not secure for Democrat leaders ever passing higher taxes. We speak truth.
Uh Oh! I was afraid you were gonna ask. At the moment,I use Palemoon,Chromium,Slimjet and Brave. Different browsers for specific web sites. All tucked behind a Nordic VPN. I run a Fluxbox (Linux) window manager with 4 workspaces so I can open them all at once.
A couple months ago all I had to do was type fre and the freerepublic link would show up. Now I have to type damn near the whole title. Same thing with Breitbart.
I’m showing an https connection. Chrome is warning me that “This site is loading scripts from an unauthenticated source.” I wonder if some package used to build/run the website is out of date or some keys are out of date.
Well, I’ll have to look into all of that.
Thanks for your advice.

Then there is Vivaldi ,
a freeware, cross-platform web browser developed by Vivaldi Technologies, a company founded by Opera Software co-founder and former CEO Jon Stephenson von Tetzchner and Tatsuki Tomita. It was officially launched on April 6, 2016.[8][9] Although intended for general users, it is first and foremost targeted towards technically-inclined users as well as former Opera users disgruntled by its transition from the Presto layout engine to a Chromium-based browser that resulted in the loss of many of its iconic features.[8][10] Despite also being Chromium-based, Vivaldi aims to revive the features of the Presto-based Opera with its own proprietary modifications. - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vivaldi_(web_browser)
I do not get the Not Secure Warning on any browsers I use, and use Waterfox and Basilisk as well as Firefox ESR due to the extensions that enable far more functionality than the 2nd best Firefox Quantum or the inferior Chrome etc., though I also use other browsers for topics like Weather pages. But in terms of functionality (like Tab stacking), I would say Vivaldi is better than Chrome, Opera and others outside of

Thanks,I’m posting from Basilisk now. Looks good so far.
Good. That is my default browser, but I actually use Firefox ESR the most, using multiple profiles of it as well as Waterfox, but which does not work with Basilisk TMk. To run Firefox or Waterfox, in the right-click properties window of the Shortcut tab, add -no-remote to the end of the text in the Target box. Click OK and launch and choose to create a profile and run the browser. To find the profiles being used, go to Help (Alt+h) and hit Troubleshooting, and Open Folder.
