The courts killed it.


Just like a gay judge killed a voter-approved Constitutional amendment affirming that marriage was between a man and a woman. He then ruled that the people who organized the initiative, had no standing to defend it in court. By this time democrats had been elected governor and attorney general and they refused to defend their own state’s constitution.

That is why putting trust in SCOTUS is lethal.

Anything they do not want: You have no standing.
