Whenever you hear “I love my country and I support the President...BUT...”
you know you’re dealing with a phony to whom all the above comes second to his self interest.
“I love my country and I support the President...BUT...”

That replaces the ‘old line’ about
‘I support the Military ....BUT.....
Not when at war
Not protecting borders
So, I guess the true meaning is ‘I support the people being paid by the Government(US) but draw the line when they are asked or sent to do what they get paid to do’
Or some other malarkey.
