SAN LUIS, Ariz. (Reuters) - A lifelong Republican, Russ Jones supports President Donald Trump and agrees he needs to take action to deal with an immigration crisis on the border with Mexico.Jones also has a customs brokerage business to run, however, and says Trump’s lingering threat to impose tariffs on imports from Mexico unless its government stems the flow of Central American migrants across the U.S.-Mexico border is terrible policy. Trump, infuriated by a surge of illegal immigrants in recent months, had threatened to impose a 5% tariff on Mexican imports starting on Monday, and steadily increase it to 25% in coming months, unless Mexico acted to stop what he describes as an invasion.

A term I have not heard in many moons!

Human nature of the “NIMBY Effect”....many claim to have ideals and they ‘adapt” those ideals if it means they may be personally affected...it’s why politicians get away with not righting some serious wrongs and why President Trump is needed - he admits some of his long-term agendas will cause some folks some short term pain/inconvenience...and he pursues what is right for the People.

“he admits some of his long-term agendas will cause some folks some short term pain/inconvenience...and he pursues what is right for the People.”

Some small business owner from New England was whining about how the tariffs willk hurt his sales of guacamole, tequila, and chips. I guess he prefers to have his children’s future damaged forever than to lose some bucks on snack food.

It doesn’t seem possible that once upon a time that was the best we could do for our men in clearing the LZ.

**************

While the pre-invasion bombing could have been better it appears that the German bunkers were so well constructed with multiple layers of reinforced concrete that they were extremely difficult to damage, even with dead on hits.

“I love my country and I support the President...BUT...”
= = = = = = = = = = =

That replaces the ‘old line’ about

‘I support the Military ....BUT.....

Not when at war
Not protecting borders

So, I guess the true meaning is ‘I support the people being paid by the Government(US) but draw the line when they are asked or sent to do what they get paid to do’

Or some other malarkey.

And in the end all Rommel did was ensure that many of our men died.

I know he was doing his job and is not considered a monster like many others...but he had to know what hitler was at that point

Partner, we agree that we need to vote folks who are conservative and not the Rinos and Liberals that we have in office right now.

We have got Mitch McConJob (Biggest Rino) who is worth $30 Million and he probably should retire soon since he makes probably an obscene amount a year from his nest egg.

Grahamesty and Rubio are a bunch of folks who have never even read the Constitution of the U.S. We all know that the liberals never read the Constitution of the U.S. before they got elected.

We the citizens and taxpayers must pay for their schooling, food stamps, medical care, housing, and general welfare.

Partner, we all feel the same way you do.
