I prefer to back in - particularly in busy parking lots. Can't see well to back OUT if bigger vehicles are alongside me.

Some lots in town here have this sign, which I can't figure at all...

Eons ago when I would visit me grandfather at his condo in Fla, I would back into a vistor space. That was a huge no no....the condo commando’s would give me crap about it.....old biddies screaming from their balconies....

Something about the exhaust fumes killing the shrubs lined up along the parking spaces.....

If I wanted to back in,I would ignore this sign. They cannot legally tow your car away. A proper nose-in maneuver also requires a backup move to position the car for a straight-in entry to the space, especially if the space is too narrow.

Where I’ve seen that, it’s been with diagonal parking spaces.
